ABOUT US
Meet the face behind Mae'd In Style
Our founder, Lexy, fell in love with ceramics in high school where she spent spending hours at the wheel, discovering the grounding magic of shaping clay, and finding a sense of calm in the creative process. But after graduation, studio access became expensive and hard to come by, a challenge so many aspiring artists know well.
Instead of letting that passion fade, Lexy got resourceful. She started building a small studio in her home, simply so she could keep creating. Soon, family and friends wanted to join—curious, inspired, and excited to try pottery in a space that felt welcoming and low-pressure.
That’s when the idea for Mae’d in Style took shape: a way to bring pottery directly to people, no matter their experience, comfort level, or access to a traditional studio. What began as a personal passion has grown into a movement of making art approachable, experiences meaningful, and creativity mobile.
At Mae’d in Style, pottery is about more than clay.
It’s about connection, expression, and creating something you’ll remember.
